Schedule
- Technical Interviews will take place on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Year-Round Auditions will take place Saturday morning
- Summer-Only Auditions will take place on both Saturday afternoon.
Dance Auditions
Dance Auditions will take place after the completion of morning auditions on Saturday, and after the final audition on Saturday afternoon. Actors who are called back to Dance Auditions will select whether to participate in the “Mover” or “Dancer” combination. Tappers will have the opportunity to perform a short tap combination at the conclusion of the Dancer auditions.
Callback Rooms
Callback rooms are available, free of charge, to those producers who request them. The campus callback rooms will be available to producers throughout the day Saturday, allowing producers with more than one representative the opportunity to attend auditions and conduct callbacks simultaneously. Producers can remain in their callback room as late into the evening as is required. Additionally, producers may choose to set up any special promotional displays in their callback room on Friday evening.
Meals & Hospitality
A light continental breakfast will be offered in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, with coffee and sodas available throughout the day. A hot meal is provided for lunch, and a box dinner is provided at the beginning of evening callbacks. Meals for one representative are included in your producer registration fee. Additional meals may be ordered at $10 for each additional representative. Vegetarian meals are available.
Technical Interviews
Producers hiring technicians will be provided an Interview Room in which they may set up promotional material and conduct interviews throughout Saturday. Auditions and interviews occur simultaneously throughout the day on Saturday. Producers who are unable to bring representatives to interview technicians may request to view the Video Portfolios recorded of technicians.
Videos & Interviews
For producers who are unable, due to travel costs or scheduling difficulties, to attend our North Central Auditions and Interviews in person may sign up for video registration. Producers will receive access to videos of our acting auditionees as well as a copy of our producer book (containing pictures and resumes for all auditionees). Auditionees sign a waiver that they acknowledge that their audition will be recorded and sent to those producers who have registered for the service. Any auditionees who do not sign the waiver will not be included.
Producers who are unable to bring representatives to interview technicians may request to view the Video Portfolios, a 10- minute portfolio presentation which will be video recorded on-site by OTA staffers. Video portfolios will be unlisted on You-Tube, available to producers who request the links. Producers will receive a copy of the producer book which contains the resumes of all technicians.
