2007 Ohio Theatre Alliance Conference

This year, in conjunction with the North Central Regional Auditions and Interviews, the Ohio Theatre Alliance is hosting a one-day conference on Saturday, January 27, 2007 for theatre professionals, educators, and students.

The conference will consist of five presentations (25 minutes each) from five leading theatre artists who currently bridge the gap between professional and academic worlds. The presentations will start at 1:00 pm. and will be followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 4:00 pm.

The conference will feature presentations by:

  • Zan Sawyer-Dailey, Associate Director at Actors Theatre of Louisville
  • Henry Godinez, Associate Professor at Northwestern University and Resident Artistic Associate at the Goodman Theatre
  • Jerry McGonigle, Associate Professor of Acting and Directing at West Virginia University
  • Michael Bloom, Artistic Director of the Cleveland Play House
  • Fontaine Syer, Associate Professor of Acting and Directing at Indiana University and former Associate Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
